Ingredients
  

Cookie Base

  • 1 bag 16 oz Funfetti sugar cookie mix Creates the base for a fabulously soft cookie
  • 4 oz cream cheese Softened for a rich texture
  • 1 large egg

Toppings

  • ½ cup pink or white sanding sugar or non-pareils For rolling the dough balls
  • 18 Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses The icing on the cake—err, cookie!

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix, softened cream cheese, and egg. Mix until you have a soft dough.
  • In a shallow bowl, place the sanding sugar or non-pareils.
  • Scoop the dough using a 1½ tablespoon scoop, roll it in the sanding sugar, and shape it into smooth balls.
  • If the dough is sticky, refrigerate it for 30–60 minutes.

Baking

  • Arrange the cookie balls on the baking sheet, about 1½ inches apart.
  • Bake for 8–12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers are soft.
  • Cool for 3–5 minutes, then press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Let cool completely before enjoying!

Notes

These cookies store beautifully in an airtight container for up to a week. You can freeze the cookie dough balls for up to three months for easy baking later.
