Ingredients
  

Phyllo Layering

  • 1 package phyllo dough Thawed
  • 1/2 cup olive oil For brushing

Filling

  • 2 cups fresh spinach Chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese Crumble
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper Adjust to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, sauté minced garlic in olive oil for about one minute.
  • Add fresh spinach and sauté until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and mix in crumbled feta, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Assembly

  • Layer phyllo dough on a baking sheet, brushing each layer with olive oil.
  • Spoon the spinach and feta mixture onto the phyllo and fold or roll to enclose the filling.

Baking

  • Brush the tops with additional olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.

Notes

Make ahead and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze after baking and cool. Reheat at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
