  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter Adds richness.

Topping

  • 1 package smoked salmon Buy from a good grocery or fishmonger for best flavor.
  • fresh dill For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the cottage cheese, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, and melted butter until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
  • Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel shape.
  • Place the bagels on a lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Serving

  • Top each bagel with smoked salmon and garnish with fresh dill.

Notes
